As an experienced e-commerce and multi-channel retail manager I develop highly profitable websites for both B2B and B2C clients. My focus is on growing the business and profitability through cross-channel customer experience, innovation and change.
Responsible for inventing and implementing e-business strategy and e-marketing campaigns - the full range from email to SEO and PPC - as well as budget setting and management.
Digital Strategy
I took up a digital editor role with Trinity Mirror in 2007 at a time of massive change and turmoil for the print industry. Through my vision and leadership of the digital strategy we built an incredibly successful multi-media business.
This included taking a pioneering new approach to the way content teams operate. On core channels traffic and revenue increased by 1,000% in two years. And my close working with senior Trinity Mirror directors led to significant strategic changes to the wider business. This success saw me feature in a Sky News special report on the future of UK media.

A highly-accomplished content manager with 10+ years' journalistic experience – particular strengths include developing and enforcing style (articles, taxonomy, video etc), editorial workflows, SEO, social media, analytics, competitor auditing, managing/setting targets and KPIs.
In one digital role I oversaw a 75-strong editorial and commercial team to ensure KPIs were met around content quality and regularity and revenue targets were hit.

I'm trained to Prince2 methods but adopt an iterative approach to digital project management. A couple of significant projects include the building of eight media websites and leading the user interface development on a pioneering cloud-based software project.
